Things might be a little quiet around here this weekend! We’re in full clean-up mode after the 14 inches of rain received from Tropical Storm Hermine right before BlogPaws. We’re SO lucky to have a dry house (not everyone in this area was so fortunate) but, along with road damage, we’ve been left with some giant clumps of uprooted trees all along our creek.
We won’t be able to clear out the largest of the fallen trees but hopefully we can make a dent in some of it:
On the positive side, I see a lot of free firewood in our future…and the dogs are absolutely loving that the creek is running again!
