Soccer Star Tim Ream Helps Stray Rescue of St. Louis

Helping his home town strive toward the goal of a better future for our four-legged friends in need, international soccer star Tim Ream has teamed with Stray Rescue of St. Louis to raise funds for the animal welfare organization’s emergency medical program.

The proud pet parents to three rescue dogs, Ream– a central defender for the Bolton Wanderers in England– and his wife, Kristen (also a St. Louis native) are defending animals through the launch of a gift challenge, with the couple matching donations (up to $10,000) contributed to The Stracks Fund– a program named after an abused dog who was left to die in the street before receiving a new lease on life thanks to Stray Rescue of St. Louis.

Talking about a behind the scenes tour taken at Stray Rescue, the sports star stated: “You could not look into their eyes and not want to help. This emergency medical fund is crucial for Stray Rescue and for all of the dogs benefitting from the medical attention.”
