365: Happy Birthday, Tiki!
Five years ago today, we adopted a six-month-old pup from our local shelter: Tiki!
Today we all celebrated with a day trip! The first stop: Sonic Drive-In (which Irie and Tiki love…friendly strangers bringing FOOD to the car!!)
Next, we were off to Inks Lake State Park, a constant level lake that’s SO nice for swimming (unlike the lakes near us that have been hard-hit by drought). Irie and Tiki were excited as soon as we drove in…
The day was (another) hot one but it was perfect for swimming and celebrating…
We picked up some barbecue on the way home then prepared Tiki’s birthday “cake.” We made holes for five candles in Nutrish Soup Bones! (And Irie got one, too!) Happy birthday, sweet Tiki!
