64*365: Can You Spot the Dog?

A contrasting background makes for the best portraits, helping to make your subject (your dog) stand out and be noticed in the photo. Usually that background is contrasting because it’s a contrasting color. I shot this photo today of Tiki standing in the middle of what was a huge rockslide that took place when a tropical storm came through here in 2010….and she’s almost the same color as the limestone. The contrast in textures–Tiki’s long, soft hair vs. the rough, round rocks–makes for a fun contrast, though!
