Currently on the road for his It’s Almost Christmas tour, Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Chris Isaak is helping the subject of pet adoption take center stage at each stop along the way– news that’s music to the ears of dog lovers everywhere!
Banding together with BISSELL Pet Foundation, during each concert the crooner is shining a spotlight on adoptables from area shelters and rescue organizations
“I’m partnering with the BISSELL Pet Foundation to try and get pets out of shelters and into a home because they will be happier and so will you,” Isaak stated.
“In almost 40 years of performing, I have never done anything like this, and the response has been fantastic. Now my favorite part of this show is having dogs come out on stage. They always steal the show!”
Empty The Shelters Holiday Hope Pet Adoption Event
The iconic crooner is also using tour dates to spread the word about BISSELL Pet Foundation’s upcoming Holiday Hope pet adoption event. Taking place December 1 – 17, adopters at participating shelters can welcome a dog or cat into their family at a reduced rate of $50 or less.
The Holiday Hope event is one of four BISSELL Pet Foundation Empty the Shelter pet adoption events held each year.
Launched in 2016, Empty The Shelters is the largest funded adoption event in the nation, and to date has helped close to 190,000 companion animals find forever families to love. To find a participating shelter near you, visit the Pet Foundation website.
Dogs Love Christmas Too
Chris Isaak has always had a special bond with his buddies who bark. The “Wicked Game” singer’s late Maltese Rodney (seen above) accompanied him on tours, and today Isaak is inspired by his dog Jack, who came into the singer’s life in 2020 and can be seen in cartoon form in Isaak’s song “Pandemic Blues: I Can’t Take It!”
