I’m so lucky that my parents recently ran across some photos of Peanut and Daisy, my childhood dog and duck that I wrote about in my first big magazine article.
Peanut loved to sit in the backyard swing and watch Daisy as she walked around the yard:

The two loved to explore the yard together:
After Peanut‘s back injury and surgery, we worked with Peanut every day so he could regain the use of his legs. Daisy was a big part of his water therapy!
Eventually Peanut regained use of his legs again and he and Daisy went back to exploring the yard together for years to come.
