Our house is dark at night. Living in the country it’s dark…really dark…outside here so there’s no streetlight coming in the windows.
So we have lamps (a lot of lamps!) in the main living room/dining room/kitchen area. They make a nice glow to evening photos like this shot tonight of Irie hanging out in her favorite spot on the couch.
Try some shots by a lamp. Even with florescent light bulbs (which is what’s in this lamp above), the lampshade will diffuse the light and help give your photo a warm evening glow.
