152*365: Watching for Condensation!

Share with fellow dog lovers!

Summer means heat, humidity, and air conditioning…the perfect formula for condensation in your camera.

When we specialized in the Caribbean and, when we were on the road, spent all day on assignment photographing and researching, we had a regular morning routine: as soon as we woke up, our cameras were relocated out to the hotel room balcony. The high humidity of the Caribbean, the heat, and the chilly hotel rooms would INSTANTLY fog the camera lenses and it would take a good hour for the camera to clear so we could get to work and start photographing the locations we visited.

If you plan to photograph your dog outdoors and your camera is indoors, be sure to allow time for your camera to adjust to the outdoor temperature during the upcoming summer months…so you don’t wind up with a super soft-focus photo!
