General Dog-Themed Drink Recipes

Big Dog Cocktail

• 1 oz. Kahlua® coffee liqueur
• 1.5  oz. vodka
• 4 oz. milk
• 1 splash Pepsi®

Pour Kahlua and vodka over ice in glass. Fill remainder of glass with milk then top with Pepsi. Stir.

Black Dog Cocktail

• 3 oz. light rum
• .5 oz. dry vermouth

Mix in glass with ice; strain and pour into chilled glass. Garnish with black olive.

Blue Dog Cocktail

• 2 oz. Skyy® vodka
• 5 oz. grapefruit juice

Mix and pour over ice.

Devil Dog Cocktail

• 3 oz. Jose Cuervo® gold tequila
• 5 oz. unsweetened grapefruit juice

Pour over ice.

Dirty Dog Cocktail

• 1 oz. Hennessy® cognac
• 1.5 oz. vodka
• 5 oz. chilled orange juice
• 1 oz. chilled cranberry juice

Combine ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice; shake then strain and serve in a chilled glass.

Fuzzy Dog

• 1 shot peach schnapps
• 1 shot amaretto almond liqueur
• 1 shot coconut rum
• Orange juice

Pour each shot over ice, fill glass with orange juice.

Mad Dog Cocktail

• 1 oz. vodka
• 1 oz. cherry juice
• 1 drop Tabasco® sauce

Layer cherry juice, vodka then Tabasco over ice.

Red Dog Cocktail

• .5 oz. orange vodka
• 2 oz. Crown Royal® Canadian whisky
• 3 oz. ginger ale
• 1.5 oz. orange juice
• 1.5 oz. cranberry juice

Add all but ginger ale to cocktail shaker filled with ice; shake and strain. Pour over ice then fill glass with ginger ale.

Salty Dog Cocktail

• 6 oz. grapefruit juice
• 1.5 oz. vodka or gin
• 1/4 tsp salt

Salt rim of glass. Mix liquids and serve over ice.

The Regal Beagle Cocktail

• .5 oz. Crown Royal® Canadian whisky
• .5 oz. peach schnapps
• .5 oz. sweet and sour mix

Mix over ice in shaker and pour into shot glass

Bichon Frise Cocktail

• 1 oz. vodka
• 1 oz. St-Germain elderflower liqueur
• 2 oz. ruby red grapefruit juice
• 1 lemon wedge

Combine liquids in a cocktail shaker filled with ice then squeeze lemon. Add lemon wedge to shaker; shake and strain then pour into chilled glass.

Bloodhound Cocktail

• .5 oz. sweet vermouth
• .5 oz. dry vermouth
• 1 oz gin

Mix all liquid ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice; strain and pour into chilled glass. Top with a strawberry

Salty Chihuahua Cocktail

• Coarse salt
• 4 oz. tequila, divided
• 2 oz. orange-flavored liqueur, divided
• 3 cups grapefruit juice, divided
• 4 grapefruit slices, for garnish

Salt rims of glasses. Add tequila and liqueur to each glass over ice then top each glass with grapefruit juice. Stir.

Golden Retriever Cocktail

• 1.5 oz. vodka
• 4 oz. apple juice

Mix and serve over ice.

Great Dane Cocktail

• 1 oz. Aquavit
• .5 oz. cherry brandy
• .5 oz. orange bitters
• 1 dash cranberry juice

Mix ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice; strain and pour into chilled glass.

Greyhound Cocktail

• 6 oz. grapefruit juice
• 1.5 oz. vodka or gin

Mix and serve over ice.

Italian Greyhound

• 1.5 oz. vodka
• .5 oz. Campari® bitters
• 5 oz. grapefruit juice

Mix vodka and grapefruit juice; pour in glass. Top with Campari.

Pomeranian Cocktail

• 2 oz. white rum
• 1 oz. pomegranate juice
• .5 oz. triple sec
• .5 oz. lemon juice
• .25 oz. grapefruit juice

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice; strain and serve in a chilled glass.

Pink Poodle Cocktail

• 1.5 oz. vanilla vodka
• Splash of Grenadine syrup
• 7-Up® soda

Pour vanilla vodka and a splash of grenadine over ice then fill rest of glass with 7-up. Top with a cherry.

Colorado Bulldog

• 1 .25 oz Vodka (well or call brand)
• .75 oz Kahlúa
• 1/4 c whole milk or half-and-half
• Splash Coca-Cola

Colorado Pug Cocktail

• 1 oz. Bailey’s® Irish cream
• 1 oz. Kahlua® coffee liqueur
• 4 oz. club soda

Pour in Kahlua and Bailey’s Irish Cream over ice. Top with club soda. Stir and serve.

Portuguese Water Dog Cocktail

• 1 oz. vodka
• 1 oz. sweet vermouth
• 4 oz. cranberry juice

Mix and serve over ice.

Whippet Cocktail

• 1 oz. vodka
• 4 oz. orange juice
• 1 dash raspberry cordial

Pour vodka and orange juice over ice; top with raspberry cordial.

Yellow Labrador Cocktail

• 1.5 oz. gin
• 4 oz. apple juice

Mix and serve over ice. Stir well and serve.
