Are You Ready for Some Football Photo Fun?

Share with fellow dog lovers!

Here’s our entry in last year’s Super Dog Sunday: Tiki and her football!

We’ve got an exciting announcement to make today! We’ve partnered up with All Things Dog Blog to host Super Dog Sunday, a big football-themed photo blog hop that, besides being lots of fun for dog lovers, is all to benefit the Petfinder Foundation!

We’ll be bringing you all the details in coming posts after the holidays, including information on how you can enter to win tons of prizes, but, first, we wanted to tell you about the event itself.

This not-for-profit event has some sensational sponsors (more on them in future posts), and it’s ALL to benefit Petfinder Foundation, both to raise money for this nonprofit AND to help draw attention to some dogs in search of their forever homes.

We’re relying on help from fellow pet bloggers, who will be an important part of this fundraiser! You’ll be able to enter your own dog’s photos by emailing them to (more on all the specifics later) and highlight adoptable dogs on Petfinder, too…all to have fun and win great prizes.

The party culminates on Sunday, February 5, 2012 but, before then, we’ll have a whole month of assistance in terms of everything from photo tips to fun contests. We’ll have a photo blog hop so readers can hop among participating blogs and enjoy the photo entries.

Bloggers can post the linky list to enter to win additional prizes and free advertising both here and All Things Dog Blog! Non-bloggers will find lots of ways to enter, too, from submitting photos to leaving comments.

In January, we’ll kick off the fun with a Twitter party (you’ll remember we hosted the #SafeHowlOween and #BarkFriday parties!) Our theme for this party will be photo tips and tricks…and we’ll be giving away plenty of prizes (watch for more on this party later this week).

It’s going to be a fun way for us all to score a touchdown for homeless dogs!
